Orders and Returns


In the case that the shoes you ordered do not fit, we do offer exchange for the appropriate size.  We ask that you send the item(s) back in appropriate packaging.  We suggest you insure your package or use a tracking service.  InStep Tango Shoes are not responsible for return shipping unless the item is defective or you received the wrong item.

Please make sure that the shoes returned to us are in their original (new) condition, with any tags intact and, in the case of women’s shoes, the protective “sole” in place i.e. please do not remove the protective sole until you are sure the shoe/s are the correct size.

Return Address

Please contact us for our return address.  We do not supply this address publicly as it is a private address.

Please make sure to include your contact information (name, address, phone, email) and order # with the return. Once the package is received and goods inspected, InStep Tango Shoes will mail your exchange.

If you are returning for a refund, we will issue a credit for the amount of the returned item(s) within two business days of receipt, in the original payment method.  (Although we handle refunds promptly, credit card providers often do not post refunds immediately. Please allow up to two billing cycles for the credit to appear on your statement).  Original shipping charges are not refundable unless otherwise noted.

Please note:  we do not offer any refund if the shoe/s are damaged in any way.


We offer shipping via Australia Post or Officeworks with the charge being $17 which includes packaging and tracking costs.  Transit time generally being around 3 days.  All shipments include a tracking number, so that InStep Tango Shoes and the purchaser will know when and where the item is delivered.  Should the package you received be damaged in any way then any claim must be filed by you, the purchaser.  If your item is damaged in transit, please leave all packaging intact and file a damage claim immediately via the appropriate carrier.  If the package is not received in a timely manner please contact us and we will lodge a claim.  If you need assistance, please contact us at info@insteptangoshoes.com.


In-stock orders are processed and shipped within 2 business days from the time funds are received by InStep Tango Shoes. When you successfully place an order, you’ll receive an email from InStep Tango Shoes confirming that the order has been paid for and is being processed.  If you do not receive confirmation within 1 day or placing your order, please first check your spam folder and if you still don’t see it, please email us so we can correct the issue.

If an item you wanted is out of stock and you desperately want “those” shoes please contact us and we will aim to order in that item for you.
